Joe Bittaker,
President
In
his 30 years experience in the construction industry, the total value of
projects Mr. Bittaker has estimated and bid is over two billion dollars. Of
these, the total value of projects completed is over one hundred million
dollars. Highlights of Mr. Bittaker's career, before becoming a partner in
Landmark Construction, include a 27 campus modernization program for the
San Juan Unified School District, serving as Mechanical Project Manager for
a 19 story mid-rise building in Sacramento which houses the Army Corp of
Engineers Emergency Operation Center, and the installation of some of the
first building automation systems in Sacramento.
Paul Hanson,
Vice-President
Mr.
Hanson is the founder of Landmark Construction, later becoming Partner, and
ultimately assuming the position of Vice President upon the incorporation
of the company. Initially involved in the renovation and remodeling
of commercial spaces and public facilities as a sole-proprietor, with the
growth of Landmark, Mr. Hanson has moved to concentrating on school
modernization and construction. Mr. Hanson is respected for his
professionalism and attention to the needs and best interests of the owners
with whom he works. This attention and concern are required of all
Landmark employees and expected of all subcontractors on Landmark jobs.
Chuck Pettersen,
Project Manager
Mr.
Pettersen is a multi-talented Project Manager/Superintendent with 25 years
of leadership in the construction industry. He has consistently been
promoted to top leadership positions and has been entrusted by senior
management with the most difficult assignments, consistently fostering excellent
employee and client relations. Mr. Pettersen has remained current
with technological advancements in the construction management field and is
proficient in the most current construction management and scheduling
software.
Kevin Brennan -
Project Manager
Mr.
Brennan is a civil engineer with significant large project experience, and
has worked for some of the nation's largest contractors. His
experience includes numerous school projects, both new and modernization;
civil work of all types including earthwork and municipal infrastructure,
and a number of large projects, including Regan National Airport
Expansion. His experience and expertise will insure that any of these
significant earthwork and infrastructure projects will be expeditiously completed.
Jack Wharton -
Superintendent
Mr.
Wharton is a seasoned manager of difficult projects. With more than 40
years of construction experience. We are proud to say Mr. Wharton is, as
with several of our senior Managers, a combat veteran. He recently
completed, ahead of schedule and within budget, the Natomas Charter School
Performing Arts Center, a $7M full-fly theatre with all professional
facilities and equipment. Mr. Wharton has been with Landmark Construction
for years. Prior to joining our firm, Mr. Wharton was a large project
superintendent for Roebbelen Construction, completing projects such as a
$55M middle school/high school combination campus.
Steve Story,
Superintendent
With
over 30 years of experience, including 15 years in public school construction
management positions such as Superintendent, Project Manager, General
Superintendent, and General Manager, Mr. Story is one of our most seasoned
managers. He has an exceptional track record delivering
projects for K-12, Community College, and University clients, including a
broad range of projects from new campuses to intense renovations.
